Donations are a great way of funding the server, while offering exciting perks in return.

They allow us to deliver new content on a regular basis. As a thank you, we provide our donators with a unique, tailored game experience. Donators also become part of the development process, helping us shape the future of Minecraft Frontiers.

Everyone at Minecraft Frontiers is passionate about the project. No member of staff is making profit. Our goal is not to make money, but to create an innovative platform for as many members as possible. To achieve this, we offer a range of donation packages. These allow members of the community to contribute money every month, helping fund not only our servers, but also the development of more features on a regular basis. Donations work as a monthly subscription. We partnered with PayPal to ensure a secure way for you to donate, while also giving you the option to cancel the subscription at any time.

The process is simple:

1. Pick from a variety of donation packages, depending on how much you are willing to donate.
2. Subscribe through PayPal - we never see your bank information. No registration with PayPal is necessary.
3. Give us a while to process your subscription.
4. Enjoy your goodies. Feel good about making the MF project possible!
5. Cancel at any time.

Members vs. Customers

It is no secret that most online game companies are greed machines. The same is true for Minecraft servers. You invest time in the game, only to find out someone is better because they spent money. And if you do spend money, you get just enough back to keep you playing (and paying) on a regular basis.

Our view is very different. We are here to provide a fun experience for everyone. If you donate, we see you not as a customer, but as a member of the inner family. As such, we allow our donators to have say in our development. The staff will keep in touch, regularly asking for your feedback and ideas. We don't want you to spend money in order to get an item, but because you believe in our vision. Our rewards are put together with this in mind. They do not consist of items that would give donators a gameplay advantage, but instead allow you to have a customised experience.

What do I get out of donating? Donating means giving money towards our development. It is not a purchase of items, but rather a contribution. We see donators as active members of our community who enjoy their time with us, and naturally want our server to grow. As such, we try to involve every donator in the day-to-day aspects of MF development. Additionaly, we let our donators to personalise their experience more. Donating will not make you more powerful, but as a "thank you" for donating, you will get a variety of goodies that make the experience more personal. These range from having your biography in the game, to actually designing pieces of our world.

Can I buy multiple packages? There is no need. Our donation tiers are organised from the lowest amount, to the highest. This allows you to pick a package that is just right for you financially. Donating through a higher tier package already grants you all the goodies from all the lower tier packages. We do not aim to ruin anyone financially. Instead, this is a great opportunity for select members of the community to have a unique experience, while also helping us grow.

I don't have the money to donate. Will I be locked out of all the fun? Most definitely not. The whole project is designed to give everyone the same opportunities, regardless of how much they spend. Every goodie a donator gets is carefully balanced - and will always have no gameplay effects. Donators will never get an in-game advantage: they will not get access to extra areas, get any items you would otherwise have to earn, they won't get any benefits that would economically alter the server, or get stuff that would in any way disrupt the sense of community. Instead, they get goodies that let them personalise their experience (house skins, their lore in the game) or goodies that make the experience more fun for everyone (unlocking town architectural styles).

I feel goodie X is overpowered. Please do let us know. We spent a lot of time designing these, so chances are you have misunderstood how the goodie actually works. But we may have missed something! The packages are always changing to adapt to the needs and likes of the community as a whole, so do give us as much feedback as possible!

I feel package X is underwheling. We are always open to new suggestions and ideas. If you have an idea on how to improve a package or make it more fun, share it on our forums. Keep in mind that unlike most servers, our donations here are mainly about contributing. We want to let donators see what's going on in the background, let them shape the future experience. The goodies are a way of saying "thank you", not the sole purpose of the donation.
