The Settlers had heard of the lifted ban, and worked harder than ever to map out their new territories. It was a true time of discovery, for every day there seemed to be a new location or landmark discovered. The halls of death were one of the many, for their abundance was baffling, as well as their designs. many have journeyed through Elpida in search of the very same halls, hoping to record their elaborate architecture. Another common discovery was a deep cave network that ran through the depths of Elpida. Few have ever tried to record and keep track, for they would tend to get lost themselves. Some have even said that they survived for months on end within the caves, living off of whatever they could find. None the less, caves were commonplace throughout the central region, and there is little known about why this came to be.
