Phaedron's followers of the area, to Pertentus' dismay, had begun going missing. It was very distressful, for the followers of Phaedron felt that they had wronged him in some way. sacrifices and rituals were becoming more popular amongst all of Elpida, for they wised to to fall to the same fate. Pertentus began to pay more attention to the matter when several more had gone missing. he took it upon himself to single highhandedly resolve the issue. Going out of his way and without the Senate's approval, He funded several Religious expenditures for the townspeople of the area. Pertentus was hellbent on receiving the favor of the Gods once more, and was determined to do anything it took to return the town's profitable resources back to the Homeland.
