The Island's coast began to grow smaller and smaller as the immigrants of Patraeia became Elpideans. Both populations soared, and more land upon the island of Elpida was required. there were some parts that had yet to be explored, for many of the colonists felt that there was no need to search for what they had already received. There were, however, a few courageous young men who grew up on the ideas of the first colonists. They flt that it was their duty as citizens of Elpida to discover what lay hidden at the center of the island. There are many reports and stories of this small group of five men, but no reports of their return. Their presence seemed to dissappear from the world, never to be seen again. It is still a mystery today, and there has yet to be any brave soul who wishes to seek out the missing men.
