Approved Story of Theodore Gilman

Theodore Gilman was a very adequate man. He was raised in The Mainland his whole life, never really exploring. His family was lucky enough to have an education. Because of which, Theodore spent most of his time studying and learning about the world. In his past time, he was his villages librarian. Sadly, most of the villagers had no need for knowledge or studies, as they were farmers and blacksmiths. Soon, he picked up a book titled “Elpida.” Intrigued, he picked it up and decided to read. He didn’t put it down for months. It told the history of its rulers, kingdoms, and monsters. He thought it was all fantasy, but it was real. After he read, he prayed to his god, Aestheria, the goddess of learning. Thanking them for the book to have fallen in his hands. A couple of weeks after he finished, the King sends a messenger to his village. The messenger reads, “Hear ye, Hear ye. The king is having a transport ship move some villagers to the land of Elpida. Any interested please step forward.” Theodore stepped forward. He couldn’t believe this was happening. He left his family and his home. Weeks after the ship departed, they finally made it. He saw the beautiful fields and mysterious caves of Elpida, with the book of Elpida in his hands. He has never been much of a fighter, so Theodore decides to become a librarian and priest. Sharing his knowledge and religion to others, hoping someone will find something as great as he did. Full Name: Theodore Gilman
