Birthyear- 2388 Life story: A young man who is dissatisfied with his current life and standing with his life, in the mainland. From an above-average family, he could have enjoyed a fairly comphy life working in an above-average science pursuit. Not specifically trained in any science so far he has an interest in history and biological sciences. Fairly tall and a semi-athletic man who does occasional workouts to keep his form up. He enjoys being lavish as par with his upbringing but can cope with the outside elements. He enjoys the thought of adventuring and discovering old ruins and leaving the bureaucracy of the mainland. He is nothing special academically and is supported by his family and the few true friends he has within the academy. His father and mother both encourage him to seek what he wants to do for his life and, for now, he isn't completely sure. He feels that the world around him has already been set in stone with fathers passing their roles down to sons and that most of the land on the mainland has been discovered and the species and fauna have been documented. He feels that his current society has stagnated economically and politically and he seeks a way out without disappointing his parent or seeming like a low-life. His beliefs are a fairly blank state, his parents actually worship different gods so he was brought up in a neutral household. He has chosen to worship Metus. His personality is fairly standard fare for a young man. He seeks validation both from people and materials and seeks wealth and glory. he enjoys what he has been able to wear and eat so far but seeks more. If he sees something he wants he is able to ignore his moral compass and steal it and has done so in the past, but he can most times afford it due to his father's business. He doesn't truly believe in the gods although he doesn't disrespect them if they were real and he follows all of the current customs. He will do questionable things to give himself an edge and reads people's emotions to understand how they feel. Reason: as soon as he heard about this new opportunity he jumped at the chance. "A new land," he thinks, free from society. "I can do what I please on this new island. He quickly got his father's blessing and packed up what important items he had. He made a dash for the market and bought materials and packed for the trip. Leaving behind his family and previous boring life, he hopes he can bring acclaim to his name and wealth to his lineage. He purchases a ticket to the island and fiddles with it in his pocket as he boards the boat... Special item: on a recent trip to the eastern lands on which he went with his father he found a small sword, more accurately a dagger compared to his size. It has fake gold coverings and a slot for two jewels. It is slightly worn as it was in a peddlers shop for years in a corner. The base of the sword has a peacock head on it. However, it is a sword nevertheless and takes he takes it with him. He seeks to enchant it with the power from the new lands he is headed too.

If he is 17, then he would have been born in 2388, feel free to choose any month and date that we have in the real world. He also needs a place of birth. You can just say a house in the woods or a city in the south or even just the mainland. Feel free to make up a place, but just try to avoid giving the place a distinct name or location, try to be vague about it. And lastly, I see you mentioned Metus in the Backround. but if you could add a spot among the name and stuff that states his specific patron god, as seen in the example bio, then that would be lovely.
