Hobbies: Learning how to read and spell through locals, coin tricks, and listening to musicians play. Religious Beliefs: He believes in none, but he knows that there is probably a higher power somewhere out there. Signature Items: The first coin he had ever found. He has never found another like it and can feel that it emanates some sort of warmth. Background: A former Mainland slave, Taocrel had lived in a rich household. He often wondered why he and the other slaves weren't like other people, and he grew to hate his master and unnecessary violence through the beatings he and his fellow slaves inevitably received. One day while working he picked up a coin while working, and he began to play with it endlessly, figuring out ways to move it through his hands as though it were magic, and he instinctively knew that his master wouldn't prefer him having it, so he figured out places to hide it. He eventually transferred his "talent" to other purposes, after hearing from an old drunk that he could get off of Mainland if he gathered funds to pay Elpida to him was a chance to be equal to the other people and start a new life. He had heard music many times before, and saw how people read and knew things, and he wanted to have that for himself. He tried to coax the others into going, but none complied with his seemingly ridiculous ideas of this new "freedom". He would certainly be killed. And so his story begins.
