Minecraft Frontiers Forum Rules

The Minecraft Frontiers forums are meant for responsible use by the mature player base of our server. It’s a great way to communicate with other users, discuss ideas and bring a whole new level of interaction to the community. However, these forums can also be an opportunity for trolls and cyberbullies to wreak havoc. In light of this, there are moderators that enforce rules and make sure the forums are a great place to be for all ages. The below instructions are to be followed without exception.

Punishment System Here at Minecraft Frontiers we try to keep our moderation to a minimum, but if you don’t follow the guidelines, we will take action accordingly:

Mean posts meant to instigate aggression will be removed, and you will be warned. If you receive too many warnings within a short period of time, you will be banned for two or more days. Continuing to ignore the rules will result in a one-to-two week ban. Any further issues may result in your account being permanently banned.

These procedures are not definite, but a general outline of the moderator’s thought process. All punishments are decided by the moderators: they have the ability to make any action they feel necessary. The user's account history will be taken into account before issuing any ban. If you would like to appeal your case, please email the Administration Team. If you were banned on the server, please refer to the server rules.

Forum Rules

Keep the forums a kind and appropriate place for people of all ages.

Be respectful with your posts/threads. Insulting other users is not permitted. Anything of a sexual nature is prohibited. Severe breaches could result in an instant suspension of your account.

Racism, sexism and other types of bigotry are not allowed.

This includes racial slurs and bigoted comments (Ex. negatively addressing another user’s skill in the English language, or insulting a user’s race) directed to other users.

Post in the appropriate category.

The forums have several different “bins” for threads. This keeps posts organized and simple to find. If you are unsure as to which category a thread belongs in, put it in the category you think is the best fit. Then report the thread, asking for a moderator to direct it to the correct category (if needed). All categories have threads at the top, detailing what kind of content belongs in that section. Read these before posting.

Post and rate farming is not allowed.

Purposely posting in excess amounts on threads for the purpose of increasing your post count is unacceptable. All your posts will be removed.

Please try to avoid double posting. The edit button is a very useful tool.

Purposely having a friend rate your posts is prohibited, and all your posts and ratings will be removed if this happens. You may also be temporarily banned. Having an alternate account rate your posts is in violation of rule #11, and will result in an immediate ban of the alt account, a complete wipe of your alt account and possible additional action.

No advertising other servers, real-world merchandise, services, or any other paid item/service.

Threatening other users, the forum or server is prohibited.

This includes, but is not limited to, threatening to DDoS, harassment, and similar activities. These actions will result in punishment.

Releasing someone else’s private information is unacceptable. This includes, but is not limited to, another’s address, location, IP address, server association, passwords or account names. Sharing this or other information about another user without written permission will result in a suspension of your account.

Try to keep the forums in the English language.

In the case that you don’t speak English, please use a translation service such as Google Translate to convert your posts into English.

No illegal activity will take place on these forums.

This includes pirated content, overtly sexual content, etc. Threads discussing / distributing / seeking help for pirated content will be deleted without notification.

Severe breaches may result in your account being suspended. If you aren’t sure about what you’re about to post, please refrain from posting it.

No ban evasion.

Using an alternate account to avoid a ban will result in the alt being banned and your main account’s ban being extended. If you wish to appeal your ban, please contact Staff.

Alternate accounts are only permitted with explicit permission from an Administrator.

Alternate accounts created without permission will be deleted without notification. If you would like permission to create an alternate account, please email the Administration Team.

Please note that alternate accounts may only use private messaging. Any other activity on the forums is not permitted, including but not limited to liking posts, following people, creating threads, replying to threads and profile posts.

Users are always responsible for actions taken with their account.

Just because your friend was using your account, or your account was “hacked”, does not make your account exempt from punishment.

Please report threads that require attention. For other issues, email our Staff or Administration Team depending on the situation.

If you have any questions about these rules, please email our Staff. These rules are subject to change at any time, and we are not responsible for notifying you of changes in the content of this page. In dispute of unlisted rules, a moderator’s say is final. If you have any complaints about our staff members, please direct such comments (and evidence to support your claim) to the Administration Team.
