Rows of cheering citizens scream and yell out at the Arena. it is an undying place of battle and blood where cheers echo for miles on end. The roar of beasts, the cries of men, all of these sounds are omitted by such a place. The Arena, by which it has been named, is where there are numerous events used as entertainment for the populace. Often having the best warriors of each god battle one another or battling wild animals, these sandy pits are a sure way of gaining influence in the community. Warriors will often be sponsored by their temple/ patron god, as well as politicians who wish to gain more popularity. These battles will often use blunt weapons, but it is not uncommon for a warrior to be bludgeoned to death in one of the many games.

There can be hundreds of games in which champions fight, as new ones often arise.

  • Survival: where the champions battle in an all out fight with each warrior present from each god.
  • Ranking Match: A tournament where the chosen champions battle to reign supreme with a reward.
  • Beasts and Men: where wild beasts (Boar, lions, bears, etc) fight against the champions. Alliances can be made for such an event
  • Team Matches: where alliance are made for two paired champions to fight in a tournament battle.
  • Death Match: Where the blunt weapons are replace with real ones while the champions fight one another to the death
  • The Revival: where a convicted man may fight for his life against a champion of the people’s choice. If he wins, he is free. if he loses, he is dead.

The amount of champions per game vary, since rogue warriors have been known to join in the fun. However, some games have limitations. If there can only be one champion, it is common for the temple to vote, or the warriors to fight one another in a mini tournament to see who is the strongest.
