1-2 paragraphs about your life on the Mainland:
I'm Evan Etherious and I'm a young writer. My life on the mainland is a simplistic one. I write for pay as a scribe, author, and songwriter. Not many people require a scribe in Patraeia, but I still get some business. I also write some books but I never get the best business. Some days are harder due to lower income, but I'm usually able to make out with enough rations to keep myself alive. I can spend countless hours writing and reading. I dream to become a large novel writer with little luck in Patraeia.
1 paragraph about your decision to go to Elpida:
Getting income with a job like mine is hard on the mainland. I want to go somewhere where people are different and I have a higher chance of success as a scribe/author. I also want new experiences to influence my stories. Traveling to a new land such as Elpida is a great chance for me to gain much more income and success as writer. I'm wanting to make more of what I have.
