My name is Relthine Blackthorn, and I have no family left. Father, mother, brother, all gone. The Mainland was supposed to be good; I don't know much about my parents, but I'll tell you this. We were supposed to be prosperous. "Another coin, son", my father would always usher to me mere moment before I slept. We were not poor, nor rich, but we made do with what we owned. I believed him, and still do to this day as anything is this world is gained by loses. Those coins my father saved where passed on to me, with a price of death, despite it being natural. Not long after, I became a blacksmith. I need not become rich from it, but I dreamed to build a reputation by delivering fancy iron jewelled swords to those in need. I wanted to trade, be a merchant of some kind, and deliver services to those in need, while saving those damn precious coins everyday. It had become more and more interesting each day as more business would accumulate, with the most spectacular of requests and concepts for my equipment. The small fortune that I've inherited along with the innumerable amount of days adding to the pile have allowed me to venture forth - but to where? Word is, is that a ship has been leaving port every few months, carrying those fortunate enough to journey to the wealthiest of lands. Saying that it took a long time to save enough money to expand my comfort zone would be a drastic understatement indeed. Regardless of where I go in Elpida, my name carriers the honour of my blacksmithing background, and with that I shall be able to set up business if I wish with ease; if that's what I want. I plan to settle in a comfortable abode, far from rich, but luxurious enough that my name lingers with it. I plan to trade goods and services with townsfolk, but have a deep sensation of need to be more practical to earn money. Illegal activities may just be the perfect solution, but nothing so uncultured as murder.

Nice Bio. I just have some questions. Signature Items are supposed to have some special quality to them. How an why is this hammer special, whether it be an actual quality or if you have a personal attachment to it? Also, could you be a little more specific as to what those "tools for illegal activities" may be? Could you specify what you mean by "Illegal activities"?
I've stated that I am a blacksmith, and thus a hammer seems to fit well with that profession. Illegal activities include thievery, black market, etc. and such tools as lock picks, or anything that will aid in such activities.

That is not what I meant. The "Signature Item" category is for items that are special to your character and cannot be replaced. Think of it this way; What makes this hammer different than any other? Why can't you replace your hammer? If it can be replaced, it is not a signature item.
