They raised cattle, pigs, and sheep, and grew all sorts of crops. Because she lived on a farm she never actually had the chance to venture into the city. Her youth was spent toiling in the vast fields of her home, and tending to their many farm animals. What little spare time she had, she spent improving her baking skills, and exploring with her sister. Although her life could be described as bland or boring, Kasai rather enjoyed the farm life. She enjoyed nurturing things to life. The day after her 19th birthday, her parents told her to move to Elpida in hopes of spreading the influence of their farm. Because of this, her parents started sending her on errands to the city where she would sell off their produce and interact with the locals. She got to keep half of the profits that she earned everyday, thus allowing her to eventually save up enough for a ticket to Elpida. She hopes that one day her sister will go to Elpida as well, so that she may see her again. She has had her seed pouch for as long as she could remember. Over the years she has collected one seed of every plant that she has ever come across. Sadly, she lost her pouch aboard the ship to Elpida. Her scythe was a family heirloom that was passed on to the eldest child of each generation. She would use it to harvest crops, but she has no doubt that she would be able to use it in combat if it ever came down to it.
