Submitting bug reports is crucial to improving the experience. The developers will be regularly watching this section, following up on every report posted. Users who are highly active in terms of submitting bug reports are greatly appreciated (and may even be rewarded in the future). What is a bug: A bug happens when something does not work the way it was intended. In some cases, this may cause you to crash. But in many cases, it will be subtle - ranging from a spelling error in an NPC dialogue, to an incorrectly defined item. In other cases, there may be a balance issue (some monsters being too weak/strong). If you believe it is not working the way we intended, please submit your finding via a thread in this section. There will be a variety of bugs. It is hard to say where to look, if we knew, they would be fixed. But here are some suggestions on where we expect bugs to come up. Commands, items, or features that should work but don't. NPC dialogues with errors in text or strange dialogue flow. Items with strange labels, recipes producing something they shouldn't, items selling for too much. Monsters not respawning or respawning too often. Monsters dropping items they shouldn't. Errors in builds. Empty interiors, areas you cannot exit, areas you should be able to enter but can't. Vanilla Minecraft features you shouldn't have access to but still do (e.g. vanilla recipes, classic combat). To submit a bug, use the following structure. Bug Submission Brief Outline: (Describe the bug in one sentence) Detailed Description: (Describe the bug in detail) Location: (If it happens only at a certain location, post the coordinates here like this: [23, -13, 53]) Replicable: (Try to replicate the bug. Do whatever you did and see if it happens again. If so, write that it is replicable. If it happened only once, is it really a bug?) Comments: (Any additional comments.) Screenshots: (Add any relevant screenshots. This may or may not be appropriate/necessary.) Make sure to only submit one bug per thread (unless it is extremely related). Create multiple threads if you want to submit several unrelated bugs. Happy hunting!
