Bolete has always had an odd fascination with fungus, as a child born to a family in a small village he had plenty of time to explore the wilderness and all the treasures within. He has always found the sounds of the forest far more comforting than exploring the hectic city. Because of his aversion to other people he never had friends growing up, and certainly no romantic interests, but it never seemed to bother him as he dedicated himself further to the study of mycology. Unfortunately as he grew older, more and more people moved to his village and the wilderness shrank, his prized foraging spots were overtaken by pastures or crops. Bolete spent years collecting what mushrooms remained and sold them at a local market until he saved up enough to travel to a place called Insulera, which he hopes contains new fungi never before documented or tasted! The only thing more entrancing than seeing a new species of mushroom is eating it, consequences be damned! (if you can't tell already he spends a lot of time on the toilet). Don't eat mushrooms you find in the woods kids. His long term dream is to compile all his findings into a field guide for others to share his hobby and further civilization's knowledge.
