Does anyone here play KSP? If so do you have any achievements you're proud of or any "war stories" you'd like to share? I just got to Duna a few days ago, and that's a major thing for me. I play on Science mode so I'm not as stressed out, but it still gives that progression feel. My rocket to Duna used a five-stage system in which the first two got me into and out of Kerbin's orbit, the next two get me into Duna's orbit, and the last one gets the satellite into whatever position I want it. I also managed to evacuate an entire space station's crew and transfer them onto another craft (although I will admit I killed Bob Kerman in the process), which is also pretty cool for me personally, because orbital meet-ups between satellites had always been a challenge. What about you guys?
I love KSP. It has been awhile since I have played it though. I once enjoyed directing an asteroid at kerbin. So I have that going for me.
I launched a rocket into/towards the sun. That were great 5(or so) hours.... I guess... it's something. And with a computer mod I automated everything in space. Fun time figuring out how quaternions work... And I still hate them...
Yes. Seems like there are quite a few people who do. I don't have any real "achievements" or war-stories, I as normally have a fully modded save whenever I play. Had it since before 0.22, and have never gotten any further than Duna because I try to download all the realism mods (RT, TAC, FAR,ect) and because of that, not only do I have everything being slow (most saves not even going past 2 in-game years), but since almost every 6 months there's a new update, my saves either break or the new features in the new updates force me to create a new save.
I even made a screenshot of it... (in a spoiler as its quite big) Spoiler: Outcome: Catastrophic Failure
Kerbal is probably my favourite game, even though I haven't been able to get past Duna and Ike. Nevertheless I still have about 600 hours of just messing around, testing mods, hypothetical crafts etc.
