This obsession followed well into his works, often implementing philosophical symbolism in his pieces. These ideals however contended with the ideals of some with local people of influence who considered these pursuits of wisdom unworthy of someone of his class. This resulted in Polemo getting in trouble throughout his youth. Kalos however did not attempt to sway Polemo from these pursuits in any way, if anything encouraging it. Kalos otten would tell tales and teachings of old Philosophers. One day whilst noting some ideas Polemo began to get bullied by some high class kids whom beat him and and spat on him remarking that he's lucky to be a freed man. At the age of 21 he held his grandfathers dying hand hand as his families knowledgeable heritage and fall from grace was revealed, Kalos told Polemo to use the last of what little money they had left to leave the mainland and make a life for himself. And so at his Grandfathers Last wish he set off to Elpida to begin his life anew.
