Serves to remind him that the past is real and that it actually happened. Story Paragraphs: Ticolas Nesla, the only son of a wealthy Patraeian merchant. Growing up, Ticolas was always interested in art and philosophy. He descends from a wealthy family and thus had been blessed with the opportunity to be taught and mentored by Patraeia's finest mentors and philosophists of the 24th century. In his second decade, Ticolas had it all. Money, knowledge, a beautiful lover and he was following his father's footsteps into being one of Patraeia's wealthiest merchants and taking over the business. Tico always maintained good relationships with everyone. He was well-known for his his wisdom despite of his young age, and for his outstanding trading record. Neslas always pay their debts! Furthermore, his family and especially his father were close to Emperor Claudius as Ticolas's mother was from a wealthy background as well, which allowed Tilutin (Ticolas's father) to take advantage of acquaintances and establish himself in the import/export business internationally. Unfortunately, the universe had other plans for Tico and he would soon realise that within the next few years things would change a lot. After the assassination of Emperor Claudius, his family got tangled up in a misfortunate set of events which lead to the family business crashing and his soon-to-be wife leaving him. Filled with hurt and sorrow, Ticolas tried to put things behind him and move on, but couldn't. However, upon reading an article about Elpida in the daily newspaper, he decides to move there and start off fresh, hoping that he could leave his past behind him and follow the stars of life and sail into the unknown to what could be the opportunity to re-discover himself.
This character bio is a wonderful start, however we recommend that the backstory be 2-3 paragraphs long and your character's decision to move to Elpida be 1-2 paragraphs long. Thank you and have a marvelous day!
