Rydan, of the House Aetherion, was born some 18 years ago in the year 2387S to a small noble family in the northern provinces of the Mainland, he was the eldest sound of the then head of his noble house, he grew up as an expert in most martial combat, especially favoring the Glaive (due to Minecraft limitations changed too a sword) however he was never a match for his Father. As he grew up turmoil and unrest rose within his Fathers domain, which lead to the eventual overthrow of the Noble family, orchestrated by Rydan's uncle, Orias, Orias then laid out the orders for Rydan to be captured and Killed, Rydan fled into the night never to be seen in his fathers domain again. Rydan now 14 needed money, and his desire for revenge is what drove him. He eventually heard of a new land, where he could perhaps gather the coinage and fame required for his homecoming. So he set to work, eventually becoming a somewhat famous Mercenary named the Black Tempest, or the Steel Whirlwind, taking into account his much more acrobatic and athletic fighting style over that of a normal soldier, he would use his speed and flexibility to maneuver the battlefield, outflanking opponents and dodging strikes rather than parrying or blocking. By the time of his 18th Nameday, he was finally ready to embark to the Newland of Elpida. Night's Edge - The Intricate Sword made by Rydan himself, his prized possession and one of the two items he managed to escape with, its unique metal caused a Damascus like a pattern in the dark steel, allowing for a rather beautiful blade, the hilt is made from the finest Walnut, wrapped in carefully tanned leather with a rich dark colour. The Pommel consisting of a small black gemstone, making for a perfect counterweight and the Crossguard comprising of a basic but ornate silver and dark steel design, the blade sleek and slightly curved with a specific shape, sharper on one side than the other, perfectly designed for slashing and light jabs. Token of House Aetherion - A small coin with the Sigil of House Aetherion, used to recognize those of Noble birth.
