Given to him as he left home by the old croan who ran the orphanage he was raised in. Bio: Jakoby doesnt have much of a past. He didn't even have a name. He was raised in an orphanage by an old woman by the name of "Molly" since he was a wee lad. They say the orphanage found him abandoned on the front porch when he was a young boy around the age of 5, they weren't sure of his true age and all he had on him were the clothes on his back and a note saying "Take care of my boy, the life i lead is no place for a boy his age. He'll be better off without me." Jakoby always had an eye for adventure and was always getting in trouble for missing curfew or being where he wasn't supposed to. A lot of time was spent standing with his nose in a corner or cleaning the stables. When he wasn't being punished, Jakoby spent his time running around the city, conversing with strangers, occasionally joining in a small gambling game to make a few coins. He was always keen to make new friends and was never afraid to stand up to his enemies. Being raised an orphan he made alot of enemies as almost everyone would look down on him as he grew up. He grew up quick and was an agile fighter. As soon as he turned 15 he enlisted with a mercenary band and traveled abroad, getting in all sorts of trouble, sometimes sober, sometimes completely off his rocker. It was a good time as he traveled alone or around with different groups meeting all sorts of people. Jakoby learned alot with various bands of mercenaries. Swordsmanship, smithing, woodworking, hunting, and even a little gathering for those cold meatless nights. Jakoby recently got back into town from one of his solo excursions trying to find a fabled temple full of riches, which turned out to be false when the local Innkeep was going on to this group of kids about this new land. How even the lowest of men can make a name for themselves. Jakoby listened in while the Innkeep went on about where and when to board, by sunrise Jakoby's room was bare and he was off to a new adventure.
