His mother was a champion boxer who taught Ghastly how to fight with not just weapons but with is fists. When Van Holland did get to see his father it was for short periods of time but he always enjoyed them. From a young age he followed his mothers job in which was a tailor, he learned to sew when he was 4 and then through his life making his way up to being arguably a above average tailor. When he was young and War raged he singed up to join he was put in a detachment who was sent on a death mission but Ghastly and the 7 others that returned were given the nickname of the Dead Men because of how they were able to go on suicide missions and come back alive. Ghastly put this down to his trusty sword 'The Torment' and the bond between everyone in the Dead Men. Ghastly was given the sword which he named 'The Torment' by his closest friend Skulduggery before the battle because he had no weapon to fight with because he thought his fists were good enough. Ghastly always loves going back to what his mother taught him and whenever he can getting into a good old fist fight. Ghastly loves going back to the thing which he is best at being a tailor. Because of his bespoke suits and their ability to be as tough as steel, as light as a feather but still fashionable for the modern business man /politician. Ghastly had to grow up fast as his mother was murdered when he was 6 but as he had learned her trade he could survive then his first battle 8 years later when he was 14 in which gained his sword it name 'The Torment' as Ghastly killed the General he thought it would be fitting to name his sword after him. Ghastly and the Dead Men were a fierce force to be reckoned with wining countless battles against the odds which subsequently won the losing at the start the war. The Dead Men after the war were a very tight knit band of brothers rarely letting new members into their highly secretive group which led to many speculating what actually went on in there bases of operations. Ghastly was quickly given the job of the Dead Men Armour for he had the best skill in crafting tailored suits as tough as steel, as light as a feather but fashionable enough so they would blend in to society. The Dead Men were soon established as a Mercenary group after the war with a very high price tag for their services but for a service that had a 100% success rater what could people expect. For a few years business had been very quite for the Mercenary group and Ghastly had been a crucial money earner for the company in the quite days but peace was seemed to be holding out so the Dead Men disbanded and returned to their original occupations and walks of life. With his mother dead and his military purpose no longer needed Ghastly decided it was time to make a change and move to Elpida. Ghastly found out about Elpida through a drunk in a bar he was drinking at talking about it and decided it could be a good idea to go.

The current year in Elpida is 2405S, so your character would be 26 years old. 2) Can you please change the part where you mention that he’s the best tailor in the world. We understand that you want your character to be good at their job, but it would be unfair on others. Let me know when you’ve changed it!
