His family was middle class and had enough money to be able to sustain a decent life. Maven Has two older brothers that help their father in the blacksmith shop forging weapons and armour with their own twist. When Maven was twelve, his family decided that they were going to live in a forest outside of Patraeia. Maven's two older brothers refused to go with them and stayed in Patraeia to keep the shop running. Maven was able to learn how to hide his presence from others and wanted to become an assassin. With the wide open space Maven now had in the forest, he started to hunt animals as training. A few years later, both of Maven's parents got attacked by a pack of wolves and died. He then sought out for his brothers running the blacksmith shop to tell them the bad news. His brothers thought nothing of it and told Maven that they would rather their parents be dead to they wouldn't interrupt their business. Maven ran away from his brother and looked to find a new life he could be happy about. He then learned about a new city that he could live in called Elpida. Maven then packed all of his belongings and set out for a new way of life. Maven hopped that he could live a proper life in this new town and leave all of the terrible sorrow behind him.
