Religious Belief: Metus Signature Item (s): He wears a simple copper ring decorated with vines. Background Ajax Stonestrider is lucky to even be on the new continent. He comes from a family of simple village blacksmiths. His father, Jackson, was the village's only blacksmith. However, he barely made more money from his sales than the price of buying the raw materials. His prize possession was his hammer which he spent the majority of his inheritance on. His mother, Christina, came from a family of miners who sold ore to the one person in the village who needed it, her husband, Jackson. From a young age, Ajax assisted his mother in mining for his father. Once he was old enough to adequately wield a hammer, his father took him under his wing and taught him the trade. However, Ajax showed a higher aptitude for blacksmithing than his father who he quickly overcame in skill. When Ajax heard about Elpida, he knew that in order to move up in the world, he would have to head to the new world. However, because of the poorness of his family, he was barely able to book passage to the new world. He and his family were forced to take out terrifying loans in order to pay for the passage. In Elpida, Ajax wishes to open a blacksmith shop and earn enough money to book passage for his parents to join him in Elpida. Throughout his life, he lived in difficulty causing him to be a bit of a hard a** and can be quite blunt at times. However, while doing business, he is more than happy to be much nicer. He's even willing to make custom orders, but at a higher price. Because of his upbringing, he is more than capable of wielding a weapon to defend his home, business, and the community he lives in, but the thing which he enjoys the most is jewelry making in his free time.
