Backstory:

Salem Malia Reesh, boon September 19th, 2387s, 18 years of age enjoys many things in life. Most of the hobbies are simple, such as baking, Sewing, Farming, Picking flowers, writing, and studying the sky's up above. She is a peasant girl who is generally kind and spreads love whenever and wherever she can, Most people, excluding the people she has just met, call her Sal.

Back on the mainland, Salem and her grandfather worked and owned a successful bakery shop. While Salem’s Grandfather did all the upfront work and reaping the benefits, Salem worked on the fields gathering and baking goods left with no coin and riches. Salem’s Mother and father died in an accident involving bandits. Salem lost the only loving figures in her life and was forced to live with her abusive Grandmother, and grandfather. The grandparents were only abusive because they blamed Salem's parents deaths on her. Salem's parents went out of town to get her a new journal and on their journey the were murdered by the band of bandits. Salem's most significant items with her is a lock of her mother's hair and a ribbon that her father had given her at a young age. She uses the tie to sometimes tie up her hair but it mostly is around her wrist.

One night while Salem’s grandparents slept she decided to make an escape and grabbed just enough money to make a life in a new land. Grabbing her two most favored items, and only the clothing on her back, she decided to escape the living nether that her grandparents had made. With only Aestheria and Metus to guide her she made her escape to a ship, and off to the new land Insularis.

With only her small belongings she plans to arrive on this new, foreign land only to bring peace and love, things she was not shown in a long time. She plans to be helpful and make a living by being a baker and owning a bakery. Salem hopes to find lots of new things, and learn new recipes, and possibly find love for herself and start a family.

Still learning more and more about her gods Salem has chosen to follow the gods Aestheria and Metus, Aestheria because Salem loves the arts and painting and absolutely adores watching a learning about the moon, and Metus Because Salem loves to farm and as the god of harvest Salem always thanks and prays to Metus for a bountiful harvest, and always uses up every bit of crop, without waste as to appease the god.

Willing to take whatever comes, Salem is ready for this land and will do anything it takes, and plans to make and spread love.
