In his earlier years, Harry does not have many friends due to his speaking style, too straightforward and brutal. However, there was one friend whom he considered "annoying" as she doesn’t pay much attention to his grumbles. It was Olivia Ashfell, daughter of Worchester Ashfell, a very well-known merchant in Hemwick’s town. The Ashfell household is the neighbor of the Hemwick’s with an amazing relationship as Worchester often transport Hemwick’s wine to the capital of Elpida to trade with the Inns and Taverns. This has also spread the fame for both Ashfell and Hemwick households as merchants and wine brewers. The fame spreads quite far, to the ears of the nobles and the royals. Harry Hemwick, the youngest son of the Hemwick family - a family with a long history in wine brewing. Unlike his elder brother and sister who follow the family tradition, Harry took a rather different interest; he likes reading books about the outside world, from mythical fantasies to non-fiction adventures written by the actual explorer. Furthermore, different from kids at the same age, he often spends time fiddling with puzzles such as the “Chain Ring” - a present given by one of his father’s friends, who is also an explorer. This has further separated him from the local children, but it also inspired him to become an explorer. By the age of 14, Harry picked up a sword-fighting class as it was a requirement for every boy in the town before having any job. This class lasts for 2 years and during that time, Harry was often mistreated, not to the point of bullying, but isolating. As a result, he was quite lonely at the time, and Olivia, his “annoying” friend was the one to help him cope through those two years. Eventually, he graduated from the sword-fighting class with a decent performance. Surprisingly, Olivia gifted him with a small wooden puzzle box in a leather bag, which later ended up being Harry’s lucky charm during his adventures. At the time Harry turned 17, he decided to head out and fulfill his long dream of becoming an adventurer. To live and tell the tale of his adventure, Harry has set his target destination to Elpida - the center of all marvelous legends, adventures. The place where all the guilds are located, where all dreams become realities.
