He had money and food on his plate every night. He had one sister named Violet who he loved very much. One night Violet got very ill she was on her way to death and Paxton couldn't do anything. The next morning woke up to his Mom sobbing he then knew he had lost his beloved Sister Violet. He had to get his mind off his sister's death so he took up fighting which then advanced into being a gladiator. His friend Steve had told him about the best Colosseum in Elpida. Steve knew he was going through a tough time so he gave Paxton some money and clothes and sent him off to Elpida. Paxton went to Elpida to start a new life as a gladiator. Although it was tough for him to leave his family, the knew he had to follow his dreams and become the best gladiator in Elpida. He knew he had to make his Sister proud. Another reason he went was because Steve said he was moving a week later and a week later Steve showed up. They were both happy to start life on the Elpida As soon as he got on the Island he used the rest of Steves money to buy some food. After he went and build a tiny shelter to sleep in while he waited for Steve. A week later Steve showed up he led Paxton to his farm. He showed Paxton his room and said he was bunking with someone named Connor Elric. He was happy to start a life as a Gladiator when Steve told him some unpleasant news. He said, "You have to make your own money from now on you have to get a job". Paxton had no idea what to be then it came to him he would become a tamer. Although he no experience he figured he could just tame wolfs and sell them. As he came home from his first day of training he had made 10 dollars. He knew life would be hard but he was excited!
