New Website Bugs & Suggestions

I will be posting all the bugs and suggestions I have for the site here. If anyone else finds bugs or has some ideas, please do share them below.

Whenever I try to drag and drop a photo to this text box to post I get this error:

This is a eye sore in my opinion:


All you need to show is
- Likes
- Messages
- Maybe Trophy Points if we do something unique with them and possibly rename them
- Maybe we could do something that links to a persons in-game character profile?

I think retired staff should have a name like shown here:


When someone clicks on Terms + Rules link it to the wiki forum rules (with terms included) that me and @Cldfire made:


Add a link to the bottom called Server Rules and link to the server rules wiki page:


Add a Twitter Block receiving tweets from @MFOwners, @MFDevs, and maybe @MFSupport:

 

On the home page or landing page I think we should have a few more sections to it. I think you should first make the forums and wiki both have its own section. I also think you should add one saying "Join Us" then "play.MinecraftFrontiers.com". I also think you should add that third one you mentioned to me, @tcvs. Lastly, I think you should add a more simplistic background to the last slide that is already there and keep the MF logo where it is. I think below the logo should be "Contact Us" (email), and a link to our 3 twitter accounts.

I don't know if this is a bug or not, but look at the image at PG.2

I think you should add Newsletter to the NavBar and have a way for people to subscribe to it, like we used to have. I think you should make the staff@minecraftfrontiers.com or admin@minecraftfrontiers.com or contact@minecraftfrontiers.com (whichever you prefer) to be used when someone clicks Contact Us. I also think you should make a Newsletter@MinecraftFrontiers.com email so that it doesn't go to the junk folder by default. (Our current one (minecraftfrontiers@gmail.com) goes the the spam/junk folder.

 

That issue is my fault, I set it up and accidentally made it so that it would show incoming tweets also. I retired before I could fix it. Sorry @tcvs, I broke your twitter block.

We need to add two tags to the Intro and Outro thread. (I don't know the real name, but its like a label that you select and is displayed to the left of the thread title). One called Intro and one called Outro.

 

Alright, cool. Another pro is that it is more professional than a gmail.

 

Possibly make this color the same as the link and tag color or make the link and tag color the same as this color. (Sorry, its midnight, I am not thinking strait straight, time for bed).

 

One last thing, I just got on my iPad and it's 100% mobile friendly. Now you just need to make the News tab the think that that home page links to.

 

I am so sorry, I blame it on the time. Have the new home page, which has a button to the forums, link to the news section.

 

I believe that should say "or take a look at our wiki"
