His father, the blacksmith of the village, crafted weapons for the soldiers of the village. For most of his childhood, he lived a desirable life, he spent large amounts of time with his father, learning from him in his forge, and he spent his evenings playing with the other children of the village. Hunter was raised in a family which valued honor, discipline, and success. He wanted to become an esteemed blacksmith just like his father, but also learn the valuable skill of swordsmanship. At the age of 12, he had made his first sword out of wood, and practiced strikes on nearby trees to improve his skills. Unfortunately he was still a child, who lacked the knowledge and skills of swordsmanship. At the age of 14 years old, his village was attacked by plunderers, who stole valuables from all of the villagers (silver, gold, weapons). His father (Hunter AbramsII) tried to protect him and his mother (Yvonne) but was slain along with his mother. When hunter tried to intervene, using his father's sword, he was beaten badly. He cursed himself for allowing his parents to die, and vowed to never lose a fight again. Hunter vowed to source the materials to build the most powerful sword he had ever crafted, and to work on his swordsmanship to become a formidable opponent in battle. Because of his parent's death, he lived the next 5 years with his uncle, who was an experienced ex-soldier (age 65). His uncle taught him much about swordsmanship, and battle tactics. over the next 5 years, he grew, and aged into a strong young man with a growing intellect. He knew he would eventually have to leave and had started crafting weapons for the villagers in order to raise funds for passage on a ship to start his life as an adult. Every day for hours, when Hunter was not working, he was learning from his uncle, how to become a better swordsman. Day after day, week after week, year after year, he grew stronger. By the time he was 19, he had raised enough money to leave, and he said his goodbyes to his uncle and aunt, and expressed his love for his neighbours and the people o the village. He boarded a ship, waving at his fellow villagers, and said his last goodbye. It was a sad reality, but he knew it was time for him to leave, and start a life for himself, to become a loved, powerful, successful figure in a place called Elpida.
