Full Name: Evogian Varu (Pronounced EE-voh-gee-ahn VAH-roo)
Nickname(s): Var, Evo, Gian (prefers Evo)
    Gender: Male
    Character Age: 25
Date of birth: March 9th, 2380S
    Place of birth: Mainland, Patraeia
    Job: Geologist & Blacksmith
Interests and hobbies: Fishing, chatting, swimming, exploring, working, skygazing, reading, writing, any of the arts
    Religious Belief: Marventa
Signature Item (s): An Iron Pickaxe, forged with bits of ill-gotten Emeralds, created by him at the age of 17. This increased the durability a lot.

Story Paragraphs: Evogian was born into a poor family, during the time of the expedition to Insulera. His mother was a geologist and his father a blacksmith. His father made a good amount of money, enough to uphold a good house, yet the mother kept stealing his father's money in order to fund her geology excursions.

Ever since Evogian was young, his parents would always attempt to pull him into their trade. One day, his father took him to work, and the next day, his mother did, and so on. Eventually, Evogian realised that the discoveries his mother was making could be incorporated into his father's tools and armor that he forged. Once he shared this idea, his mother said it was the "stupidest thing she'd ever heard."

This continued for quite some time, until Evogian had reached the age of 16. At this age, his father would let him attempt to create his own tools. Since his father had taught him so many things, he had seemed like a natural, although he had just been recalling what his father had been saying to him. For a few years, he had been helping his father in the shop, selling tools, weapons, and taking care of the money.

He had still been going with his mother to her "workplace," but a lot less. He had formulated an idea. One day, he stole some really expensive and rare Emeralds from his mother, and decided to bring it to his father's shop. While his father wasn't looking, he mixed in bits of the ill-gotten Emeralds into a pickaxe he was creating for himself. Little did he know, that would increase it's power ten-fold.

With this newfound knowledge that certain rare materials can be mixed in to change the properties of weapons, he created his own blacksmith shop at the age of 20. Around this time, rumors were spreading about the amount of valuable and new materials in Elpida, and so he started working hard. Every day, he would wake up early to mine ores, heat them up, and forge new weapons. This refined his skills, and he never took a break, until he earned enough money to move to Elpida.

He packed up his things, said goodbye to his father (At this point, his mother and father had divorced, and he no longer wished to see his mother for other unrelated reasons) and left on a journey. His goal for this trip was to show the world that items did not just have to be made with simple materials, but that anything can be incorporated into a tool to increase a certain aspect.

With little to no money in his pocket remaining, he didn't know what he was expecting, but it certainly was not this...

Your biography looks good - your date of birth is missing the S (as in 2380S) in it, though. Everything else should be all clear.

Side note: Signature Items are unavailable at the start (lore reason is that they're confiscated when players arrive in Elpida, if you have it when you arrive), so you won't be able to actually use your Pickaxe until it's "given" back to you.

Fixed the issue with the S, and thanks for the heads up about the pickaxe! Any idea when/how I'll be able to get it back?

Signature items will be available to player by donating, however you do have to create an item of equal strength and "trade" it for your item. There may be other ways to get your item without donations but we don't do them a lot.
