Abandoned and alone a baby girl was left in a pile of trash to die. The dean to a nearby orphanage was walking home when she heard the sound of a baby crying at the top of her small, slightly developed lungs. She found and rescued me, Alyssa, and took me to the orphanage. It was at this orphanage that I grew up. My life as a child was pretty rough, and at that time it seemed like no one could be living worse than I was. Every day the orphanage woke all the kids up at 7 sharp for breakfast. Then I had to go to school, which I never really appreciated. My grades were horrible, seeing as all I did with my homework was fold them up into origami planes. After school got out, we had to go back to the orphanage and do our daily chores. This was my daily routine for the first 12 years of my life. By the time I turned 12 years old, I was still not adopted, and I felt like I never would be so I ran away and never looked back. All I took with me were the clothes on my back and a necklace that I've had with me all my life. The dean told me she found it in the blanket I was in when she rescued me. It is the only thing I have to remember my real family. With no money and nowhere to go I spend my first few nights sleeping on the streets and rummaging through trash to find whatever I could to eat. One day I met this really cute boy named Apollo. We shared a lot of things in common and I quickly grew fond of him. He taught me how to steal and play pranks on people. He was my only true friend and the only person I could ever trust. Him and I traveled the streets of the mainland on foot for a couple of years, never paying for a single thing. I was now 18 years old. By this time I have gotten so good and accustomed to stealing what I wanted that it seemed like second nature. Life was great, that was until everything went wrong. Apollo and I were breaking into the Parthenon late one night, but not long after we got in the sirens went off and we were caught. The guards took us to prison, taking everything we had and leaving us with nothing but our togas. They even took my necklace, which I begged them to keep. Enraged and filled with hatred the two of us devised a way to break free. We heard the guards talk about a place called Elpida. They said that Elpida was found two years ago, and was a paradise. Although the pay to travel there costs a fortune, they said that it would be worth it, as you would earn your money back real quick, and that it was the perfect place to live. After hearing this discussion Apollo and I knew what we wanted to do. We were gonna break out of the prison, return back to the Parthenon and steal all the money would need, then buy ourselves a trip to Elpida. We began working on building a hole out to freedom. This took us three years. When we finally got out it was night time and we snuck over to the Parthenon. We fixed our mistake and made sure the alarm would not go off. We got in safely and found and took all the money we could possibly need. On our way out we were confronted by a group of guards. They pinned us down, sticking knives in our faces. I saw Apollo was focusing on one guard in particular. He whispered to me to look at the guard's neck. I slowly looked over and went nuts when I found my necklace hanging from his neck. Enraged I jumped at him, and he stabbed at me with his knife. At the last second Apollo jumped in front of me and took the attack straight to his heart. I quickly punched the guard and took his knife and repeatedly stabbed him until I saw the life leave his eyes. Then I did the same to the other two guards. After I was done, I went over to Apollo and screamed at him to stay alive. He grabbed my hand and said, "Go to Elpida, live a great life, and just know that as long as you live, even though you won't be able to see me, I will be right with you through everything." and with that, he rested his head and went to heaven. Without a lot of time to think I grabbed my necklace and the money and fled to the boat that would travel to Elpida. Now I had to go to this paradise. As long as I have my necklace it will remind me of where I came from and especially Apollo, my only real friend. I paid and got onto the boat. The ride was treacherous, and I definitely got seasick, but I finally arrived in Elpida to start my new life. Discord Username: 8percent#1778 Minecraft Username: Basoomie
Nice story, really dramatic and romantic and stuff. I managed to find some spelling mistakes, dough. (it's a pun xD and don't mind the spelling mistakes, I just wanted to say that to make the pun )
Welcome. First of all your character needs a date of birth, not just a year. Very nice story. Had everything; romance, action, drama. Let me know when you've added a date of birth. Best of luck.
Thank you. In order to get access to the server and the prototype badge, message @tcvs. Best of luck!
Welcome to Miner's Craft Frontier! I find it funny how someone with the last name Skye is friends with someone named after the Greek god of the sun. Was that intentional? P.S. Successfully completed this month's flooding of the Recent Threads box.
Thanks, and no, but it would have been really smart! I just liked the name Apollo and I couldn't think of a last name so I put skye.
