As catastrophe and disaster plagued the new colony of Elpida, The new citizens felt it was dependent upon themselves to take action. They began to train alongside warriors and adventurers, learning basic survival skills. many became adept at fighting, and so formed the Elpidian Militia. During the times when wolves plagued the citizens, the militia was there to help. On many occasion, thieves and bandits have been silenced by these citizens, who return back to daily life once their call has been conducted. For many families, it is held as a great honor to join the ranks of so many, and so those who find themselves to be enlisted can be called in times of need.
