As a great civilization, it was only natural that Patraeia would gain enemies. But these enemies were unlike any foe that had been faced in the past. The wars that were to ensue from these uncivilized people would rage on for many years on end. These people became known as the Barbarians, savages that neither feared death or the gods. They were brutes, and had no compassion for the Patraeians that lived in many villages around the city's borders. This new era of Patraeia was soon deemed ''The Blood Moons''.

The wars that were to ensue from these uncivilized people would rage on for many years on end. These people became known as the Barbarians, savages that neither feared death or the gods. They were brutes, and had no compassion for the Patraeians that lived in many villages around the city's borders. This new era of Patraeia was soon deemed ''The Blood Moons''. The Current Emperor did little as well, for he had no solution to the problem at hand. He was beginning to lose control, Emperor Claudius, and his actions would end up having grave consequences for the great nation of Patraeia, and himself as well.
