The head of the house Lars, Lucius's father gave Lucius away at the age of 4 to a slave trader to help pay off a debt to the trader. Lars told Lucius to never claim the Zosimus name and was embarrassed to call him his son. Lucius's mother Volcatia pleaded Lars to not give Lucius away. After she failed to convince him she slipped Lucius a ring with the house of Zosimus insignia into Lucius's pocket and Lucius was taken away by the trader. A couple of weeks later Lucius was sold off to another noble family, He was sold to Tolis, house of Sorex to work as a slave to help run their factory in making dolls. This was happening for 9 years until Lucius decided he had enough. So after Lucius waited for the slaves to fall asleep in the slave house Lucius broke out of his chains using sandpaper he stole from the wood station and ran out of the factory and onto the streets. The house of Sorex guards started to look for him but Lucius managed to keep clear of them. A year after living in the streets Lucius heard a rumor of a new land, when everything is possible and your dreams can come true. Lucius had enough of the mainland and decided to board the ship heading to a new land called Elpida. Lucius grabbed whatever money he had begged for and tried to pay for a ticket to board the ship. Sadly Lucius didn't have enough money and decided to sneak around and board the ship as a stowaway. A couple of months journey and Lucius makes it to the promise land, filled with ambitions for adventure and to be free.
