Alexei Jaecar was born to a huntsman tribe deep in the woods and far from any civilization. His ancestors had spent many centuries to get to where they were now. It was a paradise in the woods shared by many other families. He had a father, two sisters, and a mother named Alyosha. Sometime, in the early 2,380's, his people were attacked by barbarians. They showed no mercy in slaughtering the members of these camps. His mother was able to save him and bring him far from the camp, but some men had been on their trail. When his mother noticed this, she hid him atop of a tree, where he wouldn't be found. The barbarians very soon caught up to Alyosha, and Alexei had to witness the death of his mother. After they left, followed by minutes of sobbing, he went to examine the body of his mother. From it he retrieved her bow, as well as tools that were on her. Alexei spent the following couple of years in hiding. Too scared to go back to the original camp, he stayed secluded in the woods, learning how to fend for himself. He used his previous known knowledge to keep himself alive. When he became an early teen, he stumbled upon Patraeia. It was becoming more dangerous in the wilderness, and he retreated into the city for protection. He spent time on the streets, doing simple and dirty jobs. He eventually put his woodsmen skill to use as an apprentice for a lumberjack. Though he is a diligent worker, he had gotten tired of the city life. He became a private soldier, working his way up for notoriety. He now protects important people, escorts those traveling in the wilderness, and fights as a mercenary. He became tired of the corruption in Patraeia, and saved up money to travel to the new land of Elpida. Alexei keeps true to his principles, he protects the weak and shows no mercy for those who show none to others. Honor is of most importance to him, and he is very respectful to those who he believes deserve it. He is deeply religious, and prays to Marventa every evening. He has still not found a group or organization that he finds true and to his principles. He values hard work. He does not keep many close to him, for he has a fear of losing those he values. Because of this, he appreciates good art and craftsmanship instead of focusing his time on others. Alexei is soft spoken and has worked aside many types of people. He plans to be relieved when he reaches this new land of opportunity.
