Prototype Moar suggestions! :D

    I know you are already having a hard time keeping up with all the bugs, and every few weeks a new update. But I'd like to share my ideas anyway, so you have some ideas to think about :DD

    1. Executive Magistrate.
    As it currently does literally nothing, I made a list of things I think it should be able to do :)

    -Arena fights, just as described on the wiki.

    -Controlling guards (NPCs), with help of the Prefect making guard houses and stuff everywhere.

    -Getting an income from weapon tax. They could work together from the Trade politician dude so they can decide the tax and the part of the tax would go to the Executive treasury. Also being able to set the tax of selling weapons to the army to 0, so that would be a good way of getting weapons =3

    -Controlling explorers (NPCs) to just wander (possibly in a certain direction).

    -Hire players as Explorers and Guards.

    -Give players an escort of guards, so the guards will follow the player untill they are commanded to stop.

    -Basically the same as the last one, but also with explorers, so a player can lead expeditions.

    -And a feature called court. When a player brakes a law and is caught by a guard, they will have to go here. if the Executive is online they can decide what to based on evidence and stuff.
    If the Executive is offline (or just is lazy =3), they can point out people to do this for them. If none of them are online an NPC will make the decision by basically checking: Is there evidence? Yes/No. And if it is yes give the player a small temporary punishment untill the Executive or anyway who they said can do it for them came online and makes the final decision.

    -Protect an area with guards. Guards will stand in the way and block off everyone trying to enter.

    These are just ideas ofcourse :D
    On to the next suggestions not related to the Executive:

    -Staff hosted political debates:
    Before the votes open or before the elections, all canidates get on the stage, do their speech, answer questions and debate. From what I've seen so far people will just vote for their friends, not based on who they think will be best and I hope this would change that :D

    -Nicosaur's fluffy head added to the head hunt. Just because it would be awesome =33

    -A new crafting minigame:
    Currently from what I've heard mastercrafted just means complicated recipe and expensive items, not skills.
    Let's change that :p
    In my other post I talked about 3D crafting, which is complicated so requires a little more skill and might be cool for precision work like jewelery, but doesn't require enough skill for such OP stuff that should be called Mastercrafted.
    I was thinking about something like timed crafting? After a while of doing it you'd get the hang of it, so to make it perfect you'd require experience. This would of course only be for Mastercraft stuff and other stuff that should be super hard.

    -A little alchemy crafting.
    @MisterErwin said there are already are plans for alchemy, but this is not only alchemy but also crafting and should be compitable with almost every alchemy system :D
    Just a boiling cauldron with water you throw stuff in to make it change subtsance/phase. Example: to get damp in a bottle, you'd boil just plain water and right click it with a bottle after a while (A long while).
    To change substance I was thinking about Fire Gel. The current recipe is craftable and just water + Fire Dust. What if it was Water + Fire Dust -> Cauldron? :D it would be the same idea as make gellatine, just with fire powder. Right click when it's done and you get the gel. So this would be usable for cooking too if you'd actually implement gellatine o-o

    -Mechanics
    At the main square is this NPC named Koosh in his workshop with redstone and stuffs. I love redstone and it would be so cool if there was a way I could use it on the server :D
    I have no idea how this would work and what the end product would be, but it'd be so cool! :D

    I cannot answer many things, but I can say that this requires the arena plugin first. Which has not been made yet.

    "Hire players as guards"
    I know that servants are a planned thing for sure. Though, with NPCs not players.

    As soon as the Executive has an actual income, it could hire them himself :D

    EDIT:
    Also, the arena plugin would be cool, but in the mean time maybe a door to the arena only the Executive can open? Then they could do it manually (:)

    These ideas are nice, but I think most of them are for later progression of the server, as they require a lot of work in order to work(Such as the guard npcs and crafting). @tcvs @Tomas @MisterErwin. Nonetheless good ideas though.

    I know, I just try to suggest all ideas I get, so the devs have some ideas if they ever get bored :p

    You are hitting pretty close to our to do list. You can expect some of these sooner and others on a later date.

    It would be very nice to organize a debate. Nico has a good point, most people vote for their friends instead of voting for the people they think best suitable for the job.

    I think I've Prefect's can also create new plots. Wouldn't this be a cool feature for the Executive to have? =3 he has to explore the land first, and then make a plot there. This would make them work together more.

    At this time we are not able to support this. Simply due to how we have implemented plots. I personally have some big plan for plots(Almost a complete rewrite). At this point we just do not have the resources on hand to do it. (Enough developers).
